ABOUT ME

 

 

Lorene graduated with a BS in Speech/Theatre-Mass Communications-Broadcasting from Black Hills State University.

She is an award-winning poet and the author of four books, The Tin Trailer and other Poems for the Hurting and the Hopeful, Chasing White Horses - Poetry for Women Who Love Too Much, The Women He Loved - Dramatic Monologues of Encounters with God, and Hungry Heart - How One Woman Found Love -winner of the Grand Prize Award of Inspiring Voices (Guideposts) Book Publishing Contest. She has also written a variety of blogs that have appeared on numerous websites/news-feeds.

 

 

Lorene has worked in professional theatre, was an executive director of a Christian theatre company, and currently performs original dramatic monologues for Christian meetings, retreats, and other venues. She has spent twenty years-plus in radio broadcasting as an on-air personality and has pastoral credentials with the Foursquare Church.
